    Mr. Wright,

It has been lovely reading these posts over the past few months and I hope you have been well. I also hope that retirement has been even more rewarding than you expected it to be. As college applications open up, I have a request to make that I’m not comfortable sharing as a comment here. Is there an email that you could provide for me to contact you via? Thank you so much for your years of teaching service and your consideration now.

Mr. Wright, I did not receive an email yesterday morning. This is likely due to student emails being unable to recieve emails from outside domains. If you could pass the message along to Mr. Guadalupe to pass to me in class today, that would be excellent. Thank you in advance.

Can we get a Mr. Wright email release?

    1. Mads, working on that. Apparently if I simply post it opens things up to spam and the like. Mr. Guadalupe does have my personal address and feel free to ask him for that and let him know I sent you. More soon. Nice to see your name today.

    Mr Wright,

I hope you have been doing well! I have been looking through these posts a few times a month, and it makes me feel happy to keep up with your updates. I am no longer in Fairmont. However, I am continuing my orchestra journey in a new school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This orchestra is a small group compared to Fairmont and Van Buren, so it’s a mix of 9th and 12th-grade students.

Every day during orchestra, I always think about you and the people I have made friends with in orchestra. I miss those times, and I wish I could sometimes go back and spend those days again. My experience in the orchestra at Van Buren and Fairmont will always hold a special place in my heart because of you. You are like a friend and a family member to me. Orchestra is never the same without you anymore, but I am determined to continue playing in orchestra. You have made such a big impact on me that words cannot express. Thank you.

    1. Rayna, it is so good to see your name, and I am excited about your new adventures in Minnesota but also sad I won’t see you around Kettering. Thank you for keeping in touch. I miss the daily routine at school for sure but have been busier than ever with a lot of things that I will share in the future. You are certainly very dear to me and were such a great and kind leader for our groups for so many years. I am so grateful to you for making my life better and if you got anything out of it all I am grateful for that as well. Please check in anytime.
