We have been on the road to start the summer, with a lot of time to think and reflect. I am excited to spend more time working on this little blog site. I am also so grateful for all of the well wishes and kindnesses to close out the school year and that chapter of my life. It was overwhelming but so appreciated. Today would have marked day 1 of a favorite tradition of mine, Summer Strings. I will always miss every part of camp week and the excitement and enthusiasm it always brought. Anyone who is reading this, if you were ever a part of camp week, thank you. You are why it happened all these years. More down the road soon. Gratefully….
Great Memories

I was an orchestra teacher for 33 years in the Kettering City Schools and the Fairborn City Schools. I also enjoyed work with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra as well as Peace Lutheran Church, Church of the Cross United Methodist and Shroyer Rd. Baptist Church. View all posts by richwright1966

Mr. Wright,
You were such an amazing orchestra teacher throughout my orchestra career in Van Buren middle school. I enjoyed walking into class everyday to see you ready to teach, or helping students with the support they needed. It was a pleasure to be able to meet you and I wish you the best going forward. I will continue to watch this blog as it continues on and it was sad to see you go.
