I was an orchestra teacher for 33 years in the Kettering City Schools and the Fairborn City Schools. I also enjoyed work with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra as well as Peace Lutheran Church, Church of the Cross United Methodist and Shroyer Rd. Baptist Church.

The Final Concert

Here we go. My final concert as an orchestra instructor after 33 years in the classroom. It feels…final, but the excitement and purpose remain. I can’t wait to share this experience with some of the finest young people I have ever known. I am not sure how I will feel but I think I will just remain focused to give all I can to them. I am excited to reflect on this soon. But for now, let’s go musicians!
