The Final Concert

Here we go. My final concert as an orchestra instructor after 33 years in the classroom. It feels…final, but the excitement and purpose remain. I can’t wait to share this experience with some of the finest young people I have ever known. I am not sure how I will feel but I think I will just remain focused to give all I can to them. I am excited to reflect on this soon. But for now, let’s go musicians!

Congratulations on your retirement! It’s well deserved after 33 years. And a big thank you for all you’ve done for the kids whose lives you touched. You’re a great role model. Time to relax and enjoy life.

Congrats on your retirement Mr. Wright! I’m going to miss you so much. I wish to have you for symphony but I’m excited to have Mr. Guadalupe as our next head orchestra teacher. You’re my favorite teacher. And, I will continue to play viola. 🩷🩷

I took the football out with my dad today. It felt nice but it will never be the same throwing that football without you. We need to throw again soon.
